About
I've spent 15 years making pictures move: cutting TV, designing motion, drawing concepts and leading art teams.
Now I'm turning that craft toward AI. I design small tools and systems, build them together with AI agents, and test every one myself.
Why? Because I like helping people. If something I make saves someone an hour or a headache, that's a good day.

Strengths and gaps
Strongest with visuals and people, weakest in code and ML math
Self-rated, 0 to 10. The gaps are exactly what I'm learning next.
Strengths
- Art direction and visual design9
- 3D, CG and motion design9
- Encouraging people9
- Leading teams of up to 208
- Teaching and explaining8
Growing
- Building with AI agents6
- English for work6
- AI infra: local models, MCP5
Gaps
- ML math and theory3
- Writing Python myself2
Also
- Systems thinking.
- Love of math and logic puzzles since childhood; I pick up games fast.
What I'm learning
I learn by doing: every topic turns into a small project.
Now
Studying today
- Transformers from scratch: Karpathy's “Zero to Hero”, “Attention Is All You Need”
- AI agents and MCP
- Shipping with Claude Code
Next
Closing the gaps
- Python: read and fix code
- Linear algebra
- Probability and statistics
- English for interviews
Later
Putting it to work
- Small ML experiments
- Evaluating AI models
- Public write-ups of results
How I work
AI agents write the code: I set the task, review the result and take it all the way to a public link.
- I keep people going. On every team I've led, I was the one people came to when a project felt hopeless.
- I stay calm. AI is shaking up whole industries, mine included. I'd rather learn than panic.
- I ship. Idea → working prototype in days, then I test it on real people.
- I explain. Former teacher: I can make a hard idea simple.
What I'm looking for
A junior role in AI. I haven't locked in one direction, and that's on purpose: I'd rather go where I can be useful and learn fastest.
- Creative AI: tools for artists, image and video pipelines
- AI products and tooling: prototyping, testing, user feedback
- Games: game design with AI, AI-driven mechanics
- Research support: evaluation, data, visualising results
